1. Company Objective

GoWair Virtual is a non-profit virtual airline that seeks to reproduce the flight experience as accurately as possible, providing all available materials to achieve the highest level of realism in flight simulation.

2. Pilot Enrollment

  • The minimum age to join GoWair Virtual is 18 years old.

  • It is mandatory to have accounts on the flight networks where the airline operates in order to register.

  • The candidate's profile and flight hours will be evaluated.

  • At the STAFF's discretion, the candidate will receive a form to complete and send via email. Depending on their experience, a practical test (a checkride) may be required to evaluate knowledge and radio communications. After the test, the STAFF will deliberate and communicate the result (pass/fail) via email.

  • It is necessary to have one of the following PC simulators: X-Plane, MSFS2020 or MSFS2024

3. Operations

  • All operations are conducted online, without exception, on the flight networks where the airline is registered.

  • GoWair Virtual fleet aircraft must be used with their specific liveries and the corresponding network's MTL/Model Matching packages. If a livery and/or MTL is unavailable, generic liveries are permitted.

  • All flights must be reported on the airline's platform using its ACARS reporting system.

  • Connections to both the ACARS and the flight network must be simultaneous.

 Remarks

  • Use of "Remarks" On the IVAO flight network, in box 18 of the flight plan, the following literal expressions must be included as applicable (established by IVAO and mandatory):

  • DOF/260420 REG/EC-GWR /IVAOVA/GWR /CS/LEMON

NO OTHER REG OR OPR ENTRIES OTHER THAN THOSE INDICATED ABOVE MAY EXIST IN THE FLIGHT PLAN.

It is extremely important that you add the company REMARKS to your IVAO/VATSIM flight plan for statistical purposes and the company's continued viability. Failure to include these REMARKS makes it impossible for the company to operate on the aforementioned networks.

 Flight Types

For flights reported manually (due to forgetting to activate ACARS or system failures), the pilot must indicate the alternate airport, the incident, and the aircraft used in the “Remarks,” followed by the word “GoWair Virtual” (e.g., B737-800 GoWair Virtual). Manual reports that do not include these annotations will be automatically rejected.

 Maximum Admissible Landing Rate

Flights with a landing rate equal to or greater than -600 FPM, as recorded by the reporting system, will be automatically rejected and will not be counted toward the pilot's profile.

 Admissible Performance Score

Flights with a performance score lower than 50%, as recorded by the reporting system, will be automatically rejected and will not be counted toward the pilot's profile.

 Tours – Rejected Legs

If a leg of a tour is rejected, the flight must be repeated in charter mode, as the system registers the leg as completed even if it was rejected.

 Maximum Ground Time (IMPORTANT)

  • A maximum of 20 minutes on the ground is allowed at both the start (boarding and preparation) and the end of the flight (shutdown, deboarding, and closing). If this limit is exceeded at either end, the report will be automatically rejected.

 Network Disconnection Time

  • Non-charter flights (scheduled, missions, events, etc.) shall be reported in the ACARS with the flight number assigned by the reservation system. This is the only valid way to report these flights.

  • Charter flights shall be reported with the pilot's callsign (e.g., GWR123) in the “flight number” field.

A maximum of 20 minutes of disconnection is allowed due to simulator, equipment, or network failures. The pilot must record the cause and the UTC times of the start and end of the disconnection in both the reporting system and the flight network.

4. Internal Regulations

  • All operations are conducted using the GoWair callsign (GWR + pilot ID).

  • Reports connected to the network by flight number will be rejected (minor offense).

  • Each pilot must perform at least one flight per month. After two email warnings, inactivity will result in the cancellation of the profile.

  • Absences of up to 1 month must be communicated to the STAFF to activate "Vacation Mode." Failure to do so results in the total loss of hours, medals, and ranks.

  • Flight bookings are valid for 24 hours. If not completed within that time, they will be automatically cancelled.

  • Voluntary resignation must be requested via email using the corresponding form.

  • GoWair Virtual reserves the right of admission and the right to reject applications that do not meet the requirements or that could negatively affect its image or that of collaborating networks.

5. GoWair Virtual Fleet

  • Airbus A320
  • Airbus A330

6. Operational Bases

Our operational bases are as follows, and all our routes originate from them:

  • Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (LEMD).

7. Offenses

a) Minor Offenses These result in a temporary sanction without expulsion. They will be recorded in the internal system and notified by email.

  • Flying with unauthorized liveries or outside of established rules.
  • Reporting flights in violation of the rules in the Operations section.
  • Failure to include official GoWair Virtual remarks in flight plans.
  • Disconnecting the ACARS system after landing to avoid recording the touchdown.
  • Failure to respect the turn to speak on flight networks or with colleagues.

b) Major Offenses These result in immediate expulsion from the airline. They include, among others:

  • Promoting or sharing pirated content.
  • Flying on the network without STAFF authorization.
  • Ignoring coordination instructions during events.
  • Disrespecting or damaging the image of the airline.
  • Reporting GoWair flights under another VA.
